Our ownership group contains internationally recognized leaders in tip timing, data acquisition, vibration analysis, and system integration. With a combined 75 years experience, we have a proven track record of providing complete tip timing systems and services to a variety of customers, including the United States Air Force. President / CEO

Bryan Hayes

Bryan is the President/CEO of Non-Contact Technologies (NCT). Bryan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He worked at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) for almost 18 years primarily in the field of software and hardware development in support of the Non-Contact Stress Measurement System (NSMS). Bryan has applied NSMS to multiple turbine engines, wind tunnel compressors, and other unique applications. He is also the chairman for the international Standard Committee, ISA 107.1 for Tip Timing, which is responsible for the standardization of all aspects of Tip Timing. Bryan currently resides in Tullahoma, TN, with his wife and two kids.

Vice President / Chief Technical Officer

Terry Hayes

Terry is the Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of NCT. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Tennessee. He is a licensed Professional Engineer with the state of Tennessee since 1999. During his 35-year engineering career, he spent 25 years at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) developing and deploying various data acquisition, telemetry, and control systems. His main focus was the acquisition, analysis and processing of stress / vibration data, utilizing both strain gage and tip timing for turbine engine programs and blade health monitoring systems. His experience with Non-Contact Stress Measurement System (NSMS) began in 1987 and continues today. Terry and his wife reside in nearby Winchester, TN.

Robert Hayes

Bob is the business manager of NCT, with over 25 years experience in small business development and is responsible for the development and management of our company infrastructure, including legal and contract management, accounting, and business processes. Prior to co-founding NCT, he was the co-founder of PREMIER System Integrators, Inc., in 1991. He has experience in a multitude of roles, including serving as Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and member of the Board of Directors during various terms. He also served as the company’s engineering manager, HR manager, quality manager, and safety manager as needed as the company grew from a single location with 7 employees to three locations and 170 employees with over $34M in sales serving customers in 27 states when he retired in 2017 with the title of Executive VP Emeritus. Bob’s experience in leadership, corporate governance, and process development is integral to our success as a growing small business. Prior to founding PREMIER, Bob had over 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, working in software development, systems, and network design and project management. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He currently resides in Nashville, TN.
