optoV™
The optoV™, NCT’s laser/detector module, provides the capability to power up to 8 tip timing probes with matching high bandwidth, low noise detector channels with an additional two channels for an optical 1/rev or other functions. Output power for each laser is adjustable to optimize signal integrity. Laser wavelength of 808 nm is standard, other wavelengths (such as 405 nm for hot turbine and compressor sections) are available if required.
The optoV™ is designed to be installed near the equipment – reducing the installation costs and amount of cable that needs to be installed.
Adaptability & Simplicity
A single cable run from the test cell is all that’s required to communicate between the NCT optoV™ and our echoV™ or fusionV™ DAQ hardware. The module is environmentally protected, with water cooling for the high powered lasers and GN2/filtered compressed air purge fittings provided for secondary cooling and to protect the hardware from any potential reactive gases seen in the environment near the system. Customer defined customization can be provided. Contact us with your specific needs.
